🔒 One Big Thing does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device — always.
One Big Thing ("the app") is a personal productivity app developed by Sam Zavatchii. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.
The short version: we collect nothing. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party services involved.
We do not collect or have access to any of the following:
The app stores the following information locally on your device only, using iOS's built-in storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere:
This data is deleted if you delete the app from your device.
If you choose to enable daily reminders, the app will ask for permission to send local notifications. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device — no push notification server is involved, and no data is sent anywhere. You can disable notifications at any time from iOS Settings.
One Big Thing uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or external services of any kind. The app functions entirely offline.
The app does not collect any data from any users, including children. It is safe for all ages.
If this policy changes in a future version of the app, we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not anticipate significant changes given the app's privacy-first design.
